Fausto joined Edgewood in 1999 as its Chief Financial Officer after 3 years at Soros Fund Management. Prior to Soros he worked at Deloitte & Touche for 5 years in their tax department. Fausto graduated Saint Peter's University with an Accounting degree and completed his Masters in Taxation at Pace University. Fausto is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2005, Fausto was promoted to Partner and then in 2013, he became Edgewood’s Chief Operating Officer.
